Konstantinos Stergiou holds a Ph.D. in Business Process Management and Operations Management from the Section of Industrial Management and Operational Research of the School of Mechanical Engineering of NTUA, and he is a member of the Industrial Engineering Laboratory. He also holds a M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering (1st in his class) from the School of Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering of the University of Patras (2012-2017). His research interests concern the areas of Business Process Improvement (BPI) with the Lean Six Sigma Methodology, Continuous Improvement (CI) of Business Processes and Business Operations, the Adoption of Contemporary Technologies for BPI (Industry 4.0), and Supply Chain Management and Improvement, having published articles in scientific journals, conferences, and book chapters. He has also participated in research and consulting projects related to Organization, Modeling and Improvement of Business Processes and Operations, the Implementation of Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement, and the Application of Industry 4.0 Technologies.
